Auto Number in SQL - 11/19/2002 15:49:06
I know that Access has a datatype of Auto number -- is there any way to do this in SQL?

After searching -- I wanted to clear this up -- I don' t want to do a select statement - and retreive the data - and then have it assign a number. I want there to actually be a field in the table that is a number 1,2,3,4 and every time I add a record - it increments that by 1. This may be my way of getting around my Invoice number issue - if I can get it to work.
