excel as database - 5/31/2001 15:20:00
I have an intranet website that has a form that I am trying to send the data to an excel spreadsheet. I built everything with FrontPage and it sees the column headings of the spreadsheet. The error message I get is:

Cannot update the database
Error Description: [Microsoft][ODBC Excel Driver] Spreadsheet is full.

Error Number: -2147467259

Error Source: Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers

Can anyone help with this? Any information you can provide will be appreciated.

Thanks Harold

Mojo

I'll give it a shot.
You may be connecting to the Excel database in a read only state. If you want to try changing that, I have included a step by step process.

In FrontPage, Click Tools--->Web Settings--->Click the database tab--->Click the database connection for the Excel file --->Click Modify ---> In the Database Connection Properties box Click Advance --->

OK so far?
Now, To add a parameter, click Add. For the name of the parameter, type ReadOnly. Type 0 (zero) for the value, and then click OK.

Click OK until you are out of the Web Settings box. Save your work and then exit FrontPage.

Restart your computer.

Open FrontPage back up and try your form again.
