Server adding new files in IIS ?? - 12/4/2002 12:39:56
Hi server guru' s I am stumped on this one. I have NT 4.0 & IIS 4 with 2000 FP Extensions. (latest upgrade on) I have a new site that I originally has index.asp Added new pages. However the site now has a index_old.htm, index.htm and new_page_1.htm. All of them are 0 in size. I have never seen anything like this. They just show up. Thanks in advance. Erin

yes, I have seen that before, but I don' t remember what caused it. I think it was a FrontPage thing. I' ll pop into MS-KB and see what turns up...

well I did do some searching and I can' t find anything. I had to go to an archaic form of data retrieval, my ol brain! I think it was at brinkster and had to do with .ASP and changing the the default page setting in IIS???
