Suggestions wanted !! - 12/5/2002 3:11:02
hey all...
I have been learning PS 6.0 in my spare time [:p]...and have incorporated some stuff into this 3rd time around redesign.
If you have a couple of minutes...I would appreciate your comments on design, ease of use, etc....

It looks like you' ve had a good start experimenting with the graphics. The more you do it, the more you' ll learn.
The navigation seems pretty easy to follow. I would suggest making the text on the bottom of the pages, credit and links, a bit larger. The tiny size makes them difficult to read.

I think too much of the text is centered and that a lot of it could be placed flush-left.
Also, everything looks misty, giving it sort of a nimbostratus cloud-like look. You have the effect in the header graphic, in the sidebar links and entire background. In all honestly, I' d try to make the site less drab looking.

I' d have to agree. Having the images inset into the background I think can work, but it would be nice if they could be a little clearer. They don' t have much affect if you can' t really tell what they are. Without looking at your product line, people would wonder what they are...
This is a site with a similar type of embedded image effect in the background...is this more what you' re looking for?...

Gail... I was trying to not make it appear that way, but was tring to make things look consistent as far as a color scheme. Guess it does look a take " battleship" grey but I was also tring to compromise for black lattering usage AND white letters
But I did go back and make the navigation at the bottom reflect larger font and added the " home" link. Guess maybe I need to play with the background.
RS...that was what I had in mind to begin with until I looked at it and it seemed a tad hard to read against the font considering my item was black....so I just did alot of compromising.
Thank you all for the worthy suggestions....Any more of them out there ??
