Uploading 100 rows in SQL Server - 6/12/2001 20:59:00
All the information I got in my previous question (http://www.frontpagewebmaster.com/ubb/Forum6/HTML/002068.html) now leads directly to this one.

If I move to SQL-Server, how can I regularly upload hundreds of rows to a table? I will probably once a month need to upload a new set of records that I prepare in MS-Excel. I will have Terminal Server (or PC anywhere) access to the web server, so I guess I can work almost like on the machine itself.

Is there such a feature as in MS-Access where I can easily import all these rows? Or is there even a more simpler solution over .asp pages, reading from a file that I upload using FTP?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Matth

Here are a few ways you could do it.

You could leave the DRW and do batch updates.

You could import your data as text files.

Import your data as XML files.

Yes, Access can easily import Excel documents.
