Using drop-down menus to search a database - 6/15/2001 20:08:00
I need to create a search form with two drop-down menus. The first contains three categories and the second drop-down menu will
change depending on what is selected in the first. From those two selections, I want to be able to search a database and display the
results.

I know how to create drop-down menus and have used the Database Result Wizard to create a search form to type in requests but that's not what I want. Thanks for the help!

What you are looking for is a Category Jump Menu. You can write one with custom script if you know how to work with arrays. Or you can get one out of the box for a small investment.

I use J-Bots. They just came out with a new version. They have alot of nice front page add-ins.

Have a look.

Hope this helps you
