I have a question - 12/21/2002 15:30:22
http://www.tristatesawing.com

Should I leave the homepage graphic as a dimamond shape?

Or should I continue with the graphic and do a sort of collage and complete it into 3 images that form a triangle shape?

Thanks for all your advice.

Hi Daniel,

Personally I' d use the diamond but make it smaller and have your text to the left and immediately below - maybe making the cut off with this text below the pic:

" I had been doing construction work, while noticing contractors still using cutoff saws and hammer drilling holes to make openings in the concrete.
I decided then to start Tri-State Sawing LLC. Our crews have over 14 years experience in the concrete cutting field."

Cheers
Andy

I was thinking it may actually look better if I remove the small drop shadow, then find a way to actually inset/inlay(?) the diamond photo into the white background. How would I do that? I cannot think of any ideas off the bat but I can forsee it visually.

Help appreciated.

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Originally I was just going to add a suggestion that perhaps you should add some " Back To Top" links throughout your page but started playing with your diamond. I think you could soften the drop shadow a little and just put a little " spin" on it to set it apart.[:j] Just a thought.

:)
