Why is my database query case sensitive...? - 6/18/2001 16:54:00
I am using 2 database connections for a .dbf file and for a .fpt file to get the memo field. But when I query the database everything is case sensitive, it must be in CAPS, just how the original database file was generated...In CAPS...Unfortunately I cannot change the system generated database to lower case. Does anyone know how to convert a lower case query to an upper case one? I tried to format the text box to only upper case, and it does show the text in upper case only, but the query still searches lower case.

In your query, add uCase() to surround the query input.
I must admit, its a first for me to hear that, but I dont do a lot of different database type work

I am using the DRW for the search, would I modify the text box? Can you give me an example of the value for the text box? Thanks...
