I Need Help Please - 1/4/2003 1:18:20
I have uploaded my website 7 times today with FrontPage. I have triple checked my HTML code, and it is fine. My problem is that every one of my text links is appearing on my site as sub-directories of my domain-i.e.
www.bargainmouse.com/www.affiliatelink.com. Every one of my links gives me a 404 error, even though the HTML code on the server is showing the correct coding for a link. What is wrong, and what can I do to correct it?

I would like to get my site going. :)

Hi Debbie,

Welcome to Outfront.:)

I looked at both www.bargainmouse.com and www.affiliatelink.com and could not see any instances of the problem you describe. Please give a URL and name an actual link on the page which is giving the error. Or quote the segment of html code around the link. A URL is best though so we can see the whole page in action.

Thank you for your reply and your welcome Kitka. I found the problem. On every one of my text links, I forgot a " /" in the URL. All of my links read http:/ www.bargainmouse.com. When I went back and edited the slash back into the code...all the links worked perfectly (It has only taken my all day to find the little missing slash) :)
