Can I get a little feedback on this site? www.thenextstepcenter.com One of the goals was to give the website the look and feel of the organization' s printed newsletter. The site is not complete yet. The photo composite is repeated until we get other photos...just reusing as sort of a spacer now. Some of the water scenes will be replaced. Their logo has been tweaked but is still basically like the original...as they want it right now. thanks in advance for any input! gail ps If anyone knows a good place to get images relating to faith, please let me know. I' ve looked and didn' t care for what I found. I' m interested primarily in photos...prefer using photos to line art in a site.

Hi Gail, Looked at your site with IE 6.0 and with resolutions of both 800 X 600 and also 1024 X 768. Connection speed of 28.8 on 56K modem. All pages loaded loaded extremely fast except for the Yahoo map which is normal at my connection. All links worked. One question, was the black and white picture on the Program requirements page intentional? http://www.thenextstepcenter.com/requirements.htm

Thanks all for your time and input! John, I' m glad to know the site loads well!! The picture you mentioned is actually sepia tone. I' m ust playing with color right now. Eventually that photo composite will not appear on each page. moose, the font is called KirbysHand. It' s a free font. If you can' t find it I' ll be happy to zip and send it off to you if you contact me by email. I chose a handwriting style font for two reasons: it adds a personal touch and is eye catching. Years ago when I was preparing campaign literature, I ran across a study which found that a spot of " handwriting" on printed materials catches attention better than most anything else on a printed page, particularly when it contains a lot of info. I don' t know about your country but in the U.S. we get an great amount of junk mail. Most of us typically just toss the stuff in the trash. But if there is handwriting in a prominent place the inclination is to read at least that before the printed material ends up in the garbage. In the U.S. many politicians use handwriting fonts on campaign literature for these very reasons, even if only their signature. gail
