User update data link - 7/26/2001 19:03:00
When one has the User Update check box checked in the settings page and someone clicks a link to edit their settings, is shows the username, but all the rest of the fields are blank. I want it so it shows all their data, and they can change what they want with out fear of losing it all. Can I do this? Is this an error on your part or ours? Thanks!

Its possibly a bit of both. The login allows for a user to update his or her record 2 ways : 1)if cookies exist, but the only check is for Username. 2) If logged inIf this is the case (1), only Username (from cookies) will show IF the record doesnt exist (or did exist) If the user in the cookie does exist, then its treated as if the user has logged in and all details are shown. If the user is logged in (2), then the full record details should be displayed. You are clicking on a link register.asp?UserUpdate=True ? Failing that, can you send me some more info? ------------------ §þððk¥ "I am Spooky of Borg. Prepare to be assimilated, babycakes!" Subscribe to OutFront News Database / DRW Q & A The Spooky Login!
