Web based interface - 8/2/2001 16:53:00
I have a very large database that I would like to our managers from around the state be able to access and update via our Intranet through a browser. Some of our branches are on only 128K access so splitting the database and letting them access it directly from Access is extremely slow and out of the question. In Access, you enter the main menu to enter data through a form called frmMenu. Is there a way to create a Web based interface for this? I thought about a data access page but I don't think you can create one based on a form. Thanks in advance!

Other options:FrontPage 2002 now contains a database interface wizard that will allow you to create pages to update/add/delete records in your database. Check examples at www.frontpagehowto.com. We have quite a few examples on how to build interfaces to your database using FrontPage 2000.

Yep, its a great impovement to! (and about time!) Ultimately the design is up to you, the functionality can be done by FP if required (assuming you have 2002)
