At first glance I like that better, but looking at both and I like the plain blue water better. It gives me the feeling of fresh, natural scents coming from the flowers. The bath with the products makes me think of all the stuff in the Wal-Mart isle. :)

...so I' m going back on what I said before about wanting to see the products. I like the flowers and the fruit. It really seems to convey the fact that there' s over 400 fragrances... and they smell good!

Who knows? Maybe you can get them to put a butterfly on the label to tie it in. :)

I' m not crazy about the pea green or the yellow, but considering the jump from the naked lady being attacked by butterflies to this... I' m happy! (lol--- but what does the client think so far?)

I have DDR (which is suppose to be fast) & MSWindows XP system.....
ONLY have regular dial-up access, though.

I left your site before I ever saw ANY text....Graphics took forever to load.
(I clicked on all 4 pages....all of them only loaded graphics after a very long wait)

I did like the butterfly that appears after I " click" on your links to the other pages.

As a consumer, I would have left your site for the next one selling your product ... to see if theirs would load more quickly for me.

Just a " consumer' s" opinion ... I' m not a design pro!

love the look of the new site

suggestions:

1) make the button text a different colour - more contrast from the background

2) remove the box under " fragrant skin"

Hi Everybody!!

WOW!!! What Can I Say! You Guys are great!:)

I will begin to digest the suggestions. I have incorporated some of them already.

In reference to the background- I will lighhten it

WebConsumer There is no text yet, this is the draft layout:)

In reference to the load time - I have not optimized the pages yet, so the pages will load slower. I do that after the pics are finalized.

I would love to center the page, but I can' t figure out how to do that in Dreamweaver. Anyboy know?

check back later today. Thanks again

Barry

Please take this as constructive adn don' t hate me okay???

#1. When I visit the first page the first thing that comes to my mind is too many colors, too many pictures, too many everything.

#2. When I think of fragrances I think of serenity, peace and overall calmness. The colors simply irritate the crap out of me. I don' t know if it' s that they don' t work well together or if they' re just too...something.

#3. I' m wondering if you actually laid out the site before you started to put it together.

Buddy, this is my opinion, and you know I will always give you my honest opinion. Good and bad.:)

Sorry I have been out of the loop for a few days, (cold calling, kids, proposals can suck up your life :))

7th, Agreed! It' s like I will know what I want when I get it:).

I am preety sure that I will make this page an inner page (section) that would be the theme page for floral fragrances. Thus the fruit pages would have fruits, the the food smells would be ..............food etc.

But, I think that the newer rendition comes a bit closer. let me know what you all think:)

Thanks for any feedback!

Did I miss a butterfly flying into the mouth of a nude woman?! Oh my! :)[:p]

I like the site but a few things are bugging me, if you' ll excuse the expression.

The level of the edge of the tub to the left and right of the woman' s head is mismatched. I' d probably try to raise the right side rather than lower the left. Also, the other end of the tub is cut wrong, with the lower 1/4 appearing a bit higher. I' d do one of two things:

1- let some flowers drape over the lower part of the edge but not too far;

2- remove a sliver or two of the lower edge, then take the upper edge of the tub and soften it (the " line" which abuts the background) .

Two other suggestions.

Though the overall design is quite lovely there is something about the uniformity of the flowers that bothers me. There is a lack of what they refer to in photography and the fine arts as depth-of-field. Depth-of-field generally references the fact that detail visually diminishes the further it is in the distance: foreground objects have the most detail; middle objects have less detail; the most distant objects appear to have the least detail to the human eye. So after saving a copy of the original, I' d tweak carefully and ever so slightly blur one or two of the flower areas, especially the area which I' ve quickly illustrated. I applied a small amount of Gaussian Blur (0.3).

And finally, if it were my site I' d add what I like to call a " minor chord," something that very subtly catches the eye or adds a " note" to a large area that otherwise appears flat or empty. I added a butterfly near but not touching the flowers (I did not place the butterfly on the illustration with the blurred flowers). I' d move it around a bit to find just the right spot.
