Hi hb and welcome,

Just a quickie but I have to say the link colors on the black background just kill my eyes and the scrolling marque on the home page is a bit too fast. Of course I have older eyes.:)
:)
The nav seems to work OK, you' ve got a concept but then I' m a Giants fan.:):):)

harleyberger,

I agree with Mike54 on the links. Especially with the border around the table. Makes it difficult to view. I would set the cellSpacing=0 on the table for just a solid border...might make it easier to view.

Overall I really liked the site. I had just a few items that struck me upon first glance.

  • The Home Page seems a little sparse. My recommendation would be to take the text from your ' About Us' page and put it on the home page with the image you currently have and just drop the ' About Us' page.
  • I would also put your ' Contact' information in your header or footer and drop the ' Contact Us' page, unless you will be adding more to it later. Your pages were a little slow to load over a T1, but it may have just been my connection. It just took a while for the Contact Page to load, only to find an email address. (You may want to add a form for people to submit their contact request.)
  • Keep the font consistent on all pages. The Design Contest page was in a ' Comic Sans' font while the rest was in ' Times New Roman' (my default font).
  • ' Design' is misspelled in your Marquee ( you have it spelled Desing)

Overall, I thought it was a great site. Good colors and easy to read (except for the links). Looks like it will be a fun place to visit.

Best of Luck.

I must agree with Mike54 and SuperConductor. I think black backgrounds only work in certain instances, with the right color scheme. The black background and blue links are a bit too hard on the eyes.

Good luck,

MB
