Micah,

Are you looking to hide the status bar completely or just the message that appears there when pointing to a link?

well this is for a site that will be hosted on my space - I don' t think it very professional to have the domain name different from the url

Piano keep trying. This place gets busy at times.

Micah and Gill,

If I have the script to hide the status bar on my page, what happens if they leave my page? Does the status bar come back. If so I would probably add the script to my pages. Like you Micah, I my site has different domain names/urls involved. Please let me know.

Thank you,
Genny

since the script is javascript it will be page specific. It will need to go on every page of your site. Thats said, when users leave your site the status message should return
