quote:
Again, my main concern is that these people are bringing in traffic with words like " weight-loss while breastfeeding" , " postpartum weightloss" , " breastfeeding diet" , and their sites are usually websites with little to no info on it, and concentrate on weightloss drugs. Now, my link is buried in a page of links, so chances are the people will go there looking for one thing and get lost without even finding the link for me (most often, I can only find my link with the CTRL+F search). Any body understand what I mean Yes, I think I now understand what you' re saying. But I still maintain what I said before and below. People looking for weightloss products might indeed be looking for your type. They may find the link, they may not. But the search engine WILL find the link. IMO, you swap links or look for one-way links for all these reasons: 1. Increase link popularity 2. Increase your site' s spiderablilty 3. Increase traffic 4. Offer balanced and complementary information for your users. If your site is benefiting from a one way link from a site with decent page rank and it' s within your theme, then who cares where your link is placed? They are not asking you for a link back. Unless these sites are offensive to you from a content standpoint, I' d leave the links alone. Or, ask them to revise the link verbiage with optimized link verbiage you send them. Help any?
