Verifying FP Extensions - 3/29/2003 11:59:31
My site' s FP Extensions somehow disappeared 48 hours ago. Working with hosting company to re-establish. They are telling me everything is fine on there end, but I am getting messages from FP like " No web at server address" and " Server error: Web <Root web> busy." What' s more, the theme on my main site has been applied to ALL of my subwebs. I am selling FrontPage templates on my site and each subweb is a template. The messages I am getting lead me to believe the extensions are not correct. What is that web page that can tell you what' s installed on a server?

www.netcraft.com on the first page, at the top left is a link tht says " what server is that site running" , click it. type the URL in the box at the left.... (netcraft reports " no extensions)

Don' t know if this will help, but one support article I found read this: Getting error - " Root Web Busy" FTP or telnet to your site and remove the " service.lck" file in /www/_vti_pvt. This usually happens when an FP session is interrupted before completion. Good Luck, MB
