How Does This Look? - 4/7/2003 20:40:50
I have had this website for a couple of years www.sycamorehillsgolf.com and although, I have used this forum for help many times, I have never had it critiqued by anyone on here.
Please tell me what you think.
The site dealing with a golf course does need photos, which are in the process of being added.
Thank You

Hi sinjin6,
Looked at your site with IE 6.0, resolution of 800 X 600 and dial-up connection speed of 28.8 (keep that in mind).

http://www.sycamorehillsgolf.com/
I didn' t realize at first that " 2003 Calendar of Events" and " 2003 Membership Prices" were links. Just clicked on them by accident.

http://www.sycamorehillsgolf.com/course_information.htm
Link shows 2002 prices? With my connection speed, the page took one minute twenty seconds to load due to the Flash.

(1) Page took four minutes and thirty-five seconds to load. Were it not for the fact this was a site critique, I would have left. Work on reducing the size of your image, its currently at 822,211 bytes.
(2) Would look better with the image centered on page.
(3) I know nothing about golf. What do the color coded numbers mean?

The lime green background really made it hard to read the text. Also, have you considered a consistent font color for the page?

http://www.sycamorehillsgolf.com/new_page_1.htm (Pro Shop)
You may want to rename from " new_page_1" to " pro_shop" . Also, is this a test page with a different background?

On your " Enter Here" link, have you considered opening the link in a new window? Currently it takes the visitor out of your site.

Hope this helps!
