FUMING! What can I do?? - 4/20/2003 9:28:50
My websites are breastfeed.net, winatlosing.com, lovelosing.com, thebestfedbaby.com and breastpumps.cc (among others).
Check out these search results :
http://search.msn.com/results.aspx?q=weightloss+while+breastfeeding&FORM=SMCRT
People are using verbiage from MY descriptions that WERE high ranking (I was the first ten results for this phrase) and there is NO way a breastfeeding mom could take that stuff.
OH I am fuming, livid, raving mad mad mad. Why can the search engines boot them out???

My first thought was... that is not the search term I would use.
I would search for lose weight rather than weightloss and isn' t weight loss two words?? or I might search safe diet while breastfeeding.
As far as what you can do.. Not much, if the other site is optimized for those search terms. In a perfect world only sites that offer correct advice would be returned but the internet is not a perfect world. Just keep at it and eventually the other sites will drop off.

Yep, I would never spell it weightloss either. Funny thing, I found a lot of searches coming to my site based on a misspelling. It took me a while to find the page and place, but apparently a large number of people have the same spelling problem I do.
On Google, one day I will be #1 on the search term " lawyer fees" and the next day I will be #2. It goes back and forth and has been doing this for months. If I am in the top 3, I don' t really care. I' ve given up trying to find the logic --there isn' t always any.
