I like the design and colors. However, when the mouseover you have on the buttons accross the top, where the three colored squares appear, makes the words a little hard to read. I actually missed the menu that you had on the right side of the screen. I would either move it, or make it more obvious. I also noticed that the Agents only words on the left side were not a link. I don' t know if they are supposed to be or if that is where the Agents are supposed to login. I would try o make hat more obvious. I like the watermark in the background. But I get one and a half of them and it kinda makes it look sloppy. I hope these are not too critical. Overall, not a bad site. I like the simple colors. JemperLynn

Hi walrus, Looked at your site with IE 6.02 and NN 7.02, resolution at 800 X 600 and dial-up connection of 26.0 kbps. (1) Site loaded fast at my connection. (2) I did not see the watermark problem JemperLynn mentioned in either browser. (Just looked at the site with 1024 X 768 and still no problem.) Did you fix it?

Thanks for that. I can' t see it either but then I have exactly the same browsers as you, and I' ve tried at various resolutions. If someone else is using an older browser would they mind having a look? Thanks

Wow, that' s some complex site with a real lot of info. I have a few comments from a visual perspective. Your home page, and those with a similar layout, give a somewhat confused look because there is little separating content except white space. It works better visually on the page below, though I' m not recommending you use a dark blue table or cell background on all such pages: http://www.londonmove.co.uk/tenants/tenants.htm I think you need to do something to keep related content together better (sidebars, headers and footers). A few suggestions: use of a few table borders; not too many cell and table background color (combo of light and darker color fields) reduction of some of the white space through grouping related content Also, I like your background image but think it could be a little lighter. I also note that your LondonMove logo is not a transparent gif, so when a browser window is reduced in size, the " square" around the text shows in the colored field. Probably doesn' t bother most folk, just one of my personal web design pet peeves. [:j] gail

Thanks Gail, that gives me loads to work on.[:p] The comments you make about the whitespace are typical of where you know something isnt right but you can' t put your finger on it. I note that you haven' t mentioned the previous problem about the image, so for now I shall assume that it has sorted itself out. Comments from all of you are greatly appreciated.
