Affilliate programs?? - 4/23/2003 21:40:25
Hi Friend
I now want to try and develop an income from my site. I want to sign up to some affilliate programs which I have to find some good ones that complement mine. The thing is I unsure how they work technically. Do I need special programs to track visitors clicks and if they buy?
What about security?
How could I check to see if the company is OK?
Also if you have any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated!

Check out www.performics.com and www.linkshare.com. Do you want to be a merchant or an affiliate/publisher? Either way, the affiliate services provide the necessary software if you a merchant and ads if you are an affiliate/publisher. These companies track the ads and pay the affiliates/publishers as well.
