I started off with a white background.
Everyone said " too much white space"
I went to grey and
Everyone said " [:' (] grey"
OK
Now I have a black background. Personally I hate it. (I always prefer red, white and blue[:D])
But please tell me what you think.

Hi walrus,

Go back to white or some pastel color(s). Get yourself some images to take up some of the " white space" and create a nice logo. You can fill some of the border cells with color as well to eat up (or frame) some of the white space. You could also try one of the templates offered here. If you hadn' t guessed I hate black backgrounds too.[:' (] I see no real difference between a lot of " white space" and a lot of " black space" . It' s all empty.

Check the sale items out here. You can' t go wrong for 5 bucks.[;)] Even " Blue Star" has some appeal (for a black background)[:p].
