server error vti_cnf ? - 4/26/2003 6:02:10
does anybody know what this is and what I need to do?
server error: cannot create folder " _vti_cnf"
I get it when I try to publish some sites

who' s your host? I' ve been told that some of the free hosts don' t allow the /_vti_cnf folder to be created.

its FASTHOSTS in the UK
I' ve got another 20 or so sites up already and the site this error came back on was their previously, I deleted the contents and then tried to re-upload a new site in its place.

vti_conf = Vermeer Technologies Incorporated_configuration.
this file is created as part of the FrontPage Extension installation. Try to re-install the extensions and see what happens.
