redesign a site and I said I' d give it a shot. Is there anything glaringly wrong? I only had the old site content and a brochure to work with for now. Any input appreciated.[:j] Please disregard the goldfish/tripod banner, I put it up as a first pass sort of thing.
The link' s here NACCM

Thanks

looks good but a few things:

1) no link on " contact the Webmaster"
2) phone numbers on the home page are good but so are snail mail addresses.

hope it helps!

Ah Um, technically there isn' t one yet (at least not here).:)

Point well taken. A grasp at filling white space without real content. I guess it' s off to the image library.[:j]

Thanks

I really like the banner and the goldfish.

And I love the site. Clean and effective design and layout; everything just seems to come together.

But [and I apologize in advance if I am picky, picky, picky] there are a few minor things that, imho, need to be tweaked.

Phone and Fax #' s: Unless you can get the area code and phone number on one line, keep the area code in a consistent place. Force it with a soft return if you have to. I' d keep the area code with Fone and Phax, and the Fone # itself on it' s own line.

In the left sidebar area: put a little more space between the bottom of the graphic and the text.

If you can' t get more content for the right, empty area on the NACCM Directors page, I' d put the directors names in two columns (a table with two cells) with spacing accordingly.

I like it really, and just had to find something.

800 x 600??? I bow to Micahs point and expect I will be removing them from the header.

Excellent point. Do you think it looks a bit jammed anyway with the limited cell width? I was thinking of getting rid of it all together once I get more content to work with. Maybe taking the four pages where there is an image and text and making one page out of it.

Yeah, I didn' t like that either. It was either to close to the left column or centered. Either way it looked too empty. The copy on my HD has been modified but it still needs more content.

I understand, some people are just like that.:)[:p]:)
BTW, did you notice any of the pages jumping around?:) (hint - the NACCM Directors page link from any other page). For the life of me I can' t find the cause but it is disturbing.:):)

Been meaning to get back with you on this.

No, I don' t think it looks jammed; it needs some white space, both before and after the text. You can use a return before Our Goals on the home page too. I happen to think the page could use the graphic, or a graphic somewhere on the page, to break up the text and add visual interest.

I don' t see any of the pages jumping around. Oh, wait a sec. The goldfish does. :)
