Retry: Unicode vs Windows Code - 4/26/2001 20:39:00
My query got a bit garbled due to the parsing of HTML codes that I was using as examples. I'll insert spaces between them this time.
My question is whether it is possible to make FP allow the insertion of unicodes that include begin with the "& # " characters in WYSIWYG mode. When I attempt it, FP codes the ampersand as "& a m p ; " rather than as a part of a unicode symbol.
Also, is there any way to copy/paste characters such as em-dash and right and left quotation marks into the WYSIWYG editor and have FP encode them as unicaode HTML 4 symbols rather than as Windows symbols?
Thanks.
