I' m not sure what you mean by " fix" since I didn' t see anything " wrong" with it but my personal opinion is that " splash screens" in general don' t add anything to a site. It' s just one more hoop for a visitor to get through. I think it' s much more important to get your message across as soon as you can on your home page and provide visitors with clean, easy navigation throughout.

I said fix because it' s downright ugly, or scrap it for the the reason you mention, thank you both, I' m leaning towards scrap.
