FP2002 - 5/5/2003 18:57:34
hello all.... i have FP2000, and well, i was thinking of upgrading to fp2002. primarily because of the ' upload' feature. i checked all the stuff it offers fromt their official site. although i want to know what YOU guys like about it. and WHO has it. is it worth $80???

P.S. is there any other way besides the upload feature in fp2002 to upload files, besisdes the costly scripts?

Definitely worth it for me and I have NEVER used the upload feature.

look at hotscripts.com for some free and inexpensive upload scripts

Alex,

The only way to place your site on a server and expect it to be correct (especilly with FrontPage Server Extensions) is to use the " Publish" protocol.

I have used FrontPage since 1997, with dozens of sites and always have used " Publish." With each version in between, and have been using FP 2002 for five months.
