Is this to distinguish between pages which have been edited/created in FP2000 and those which were created in FP98? I've a feeling it is, but I just want clarification. Thanks.

Once you take these meta tags out of the head of an FP page the little blue arrow disappears:

They are automatically inserted into the head of each new page generated in FP 2000 - I am not sure about FP 98 as I never used it.

Their purpose is largely advertising I think, though I read somewhere that they also allow MS to track FP pages on the Web. I am not sure if that is true.
