Zorko -> Links to specific page positions (5/16/2003 18:10:47)

I' m sure there' s gonna be an exremely (making me look stupid) simple answer to this but here' s the question anyway.

I' ve seen sites that have for example a glossary page. You can then click on, for example, a word within the site and you are linked to the ' glossary' page, already at the correct position within the page, lets say 95 lines down the page as an example.

The question is, how can i do this within my site using FP2002?

I have tried to search for the answer but without already knowing exactly what to look for (ie what the method is called / uses) it' s not that simple!

Hi Zorko,

What you' re looking for is " bookmarks" . You need to create a bookmark(s) (Insert > bookmark) on the page you want to link to (specific places). Then create links to the bookmarks on the page you' re linking from. There' s a post here on doing that.

I knew it, a simple answer. [:(]

Thanks for that Mike54.

If only I knew i was looking for bookmarks, i could have searched for it myself. [:)]

Wouldn' t it be lovely to have an AI search engine that knew what you were looking for even when you didn' t!
