It was always my thought that the IE Browser along with Front Page supported CSS more fully than other browsers but was surprised to see that Netscape displays this page the way it was intended and IE is sadly lacking.
I went on further to read some of the recent comments in here about CSS and it looks as though a beginner like myself would do well to limit CSS to font styles.
Your comments would be appreciated.

That is how I started also. Then I moved to CSS level 1 as it is pretty widely accepted. When I moved to CSS level 2 I started looking at the compatibility charts for browsers and also verified all styles in a base set of browsers to make sure it looked good.

I think I will follow your advice Brian.....the advanced CSS is a bit beyond me. I am still struggling with tables let alone doing layout with CSS and no tables.

gskywalkers: Glad to see that I am not the only one that struggles with tables, [:@].
However I intend on accomplishing this struggle very soon![;)]
