Index Server and _vti folders - 6/3/2003 16:04:26
How can I prevent Index server from Indexing the contents of my _vti folders? I thought they were supposed to be left out of the index catalog by default.
I' ve gone to the folders properties tab and unchecked ' for fast searching allow index server to index this resource' and that works, but only until someone makes a change to the web, then the checkbox is auto-magically checked again. Very frustrating.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Go to Index server
build a new index
delete the old (default) index
