How to apply Front Page Server Extensions - 6/9/2003 12:41:33
Hi,
I am using Windows XP (pro edition) and when attempting to apply the frontpage server extensions to my default web site http://localhost I get the error message " The document root of the web server where you are trying to install the server extensions already contains a disk-based web" . I am using IIS not PWS.
Could anyone tell me (or point me in the right direction) of how to set everything up properly.

Hi Felix,
I'm a newbie who's just discovering FrontPage.
Could you please let me know how you published your webpages locally with IIS and made all the Server Extension Components work like forms , counters etc work?
A step-by-step procedure will be appreciated.
