I did this as a freebie for a friend. What do you think of the site - look and feel? What about the message? Is it too much of a begging letter? Would you sponsor her?

I have lots of thought on this one - not so much the site, which I think definitely achieves what it sets out to do, though I wonder whether there should be a photgraph of the person - there is not even a name or anything to tell me whether it is a man or a woman! You also need a contact page.
I think people would need to be able to ' see' a person and know a little more of a practical nature before handing over money.
As a vet who is no longer working in the profession I have the greatest of admiration for anyone setting out on this sort of a course as a mature student. It is a tough and academic course, and the reallity is that because the academic day is a long one for vet students and the holidays largely taken up with gaining practical experience, it is very difficult to maintain even a part time job as a vet student. Nearly impossible in the latter clinical years.
I wish your friend well. I hope she manages to find a good sponsor.

I was thinking the same thing about the picture...who is this person and what does she look like? :-)
The site looks good though, and is well done.
Would *I* sponsor her? Probably not, unless I knew her or knew someone who could vouch for her personally, because I don' t give money to people I don' t know.
