MouseOver - 6/12/2003 11:03:44
Hi,
I am creating links with images showing at same time as the user mouse over the link.
My problem is i want to have default picture in case user does not want to mouseover. As the user goes to that page they r seeing blank image.Howcan i change it to something else.
Any thoughts!
Thanks

Z,

Allot depends on the limitations of the software.

What program are you working in? FP, FW, DW..................

Z,

It would be wonderful if you could put a link to that page. :) It i kinda hard to visualize how the page initially loads to see what is happening

Replace the blank image with a " default" image...

Usually when a Javascript or DHTML rollover is created each link is a set of two images... one for the " up" (or un hovered) position, and another for the " down" (or hover) position.

This way each link shows up as a graphic or button that changes to another image when you mouseover...

Hi Barry,
Thanks for all of ur replies. The thing is i did not publish it so far.I work for this company & they already have website & its very boring. So i need to make changes in it.
I am gonna use my own ideas come up with something & then will add/remove old website.
