Hi everybody,

This is the 4th complete redo:)! http://www.fragrantskin.com

I am working on the fragrance pages so right now you will get the search results.

What do you thing of the mouseover links specifically, on the Fragrance Family Page http://www.fragrantskin.com/family.asp The links are in the layer (I finished the spicy one)

Hey!

I really like this....but (doncha luv the " buts" ) I don' t care for the drop shadow being so sharp and far below the words on " Fragrant Skin" . It makes it difficult to read; maybe blur it more and move it a little closer to the words.

Also, your rounded corners on the pages look a little jagged and uneven.

All that said, I really like this layout, and I like the new pics. Much much better than the naked lady and attack butterflies (though I liked the butterflies!) :-)

Hi Barry,

This is better than then than naked ladies & butterflies.

On my home modem it did take a few seconds to load images. On family.asp it takes awhile to load images on page. I am sure on my t1 at work it would be fine. :)

On Product ID: dt074 Category: Cinnamon under spicey - image is missing - so is country spice, Did not check images after these 2.

Over all look is great.

Only small thing is menu on family page - depending on how people mouse over things - if you go quickly to area - you may miss area & go to next menu. I know I did this.

However I really do like setup.

Erin

Yup I have 4200 pictures to enter:) And I am simply procrastinating on getting it done.

I will look into the setting the layers on the family page to not load on startup:)

I think I understand, if you move the mouse over another link while trying to get to the list, it pull up another layer. I think I will set the layers to come up on mouse down vs mouse over.:)

Good call!

Thanks again
Barry

Hey Barry,

Just got a chance to take a quick tour and I think you' re lookin' good. Nice layout and easy to get around in. One suggestion I would have is to break up the " Glossary" page (having it so long breaks up your table border:)). Perhaps you could have a set of links a - b - c - d - e - f - g where the visitor could click on the letter to go to its glossary? Just a thought.
Just a couple of small things I ran across.
On the " Body" page the moisturizing lotion image is pointing to your HD and doesn' t show.
On the " Food Smells" page Pina Colada is a different font and on the " Contact" page there is a tiny split in the table border near the bottom.

Overall - Good Job :) :) :)
FTR - I didn' t mind the naked ladies.:):):)

Hi Barry,

I feel like I' m somehow responsible for all your remakes of this site (it was my attack butterfly comment), so I' ll try not to be too critical this time. I think you have finally found the right blend of color and images. I agree with the things that the others have pointed out. In addition, the green bar below your navigation seems a bit heavy. Perhaps you could just take the height down a bit.

I' d like to see you use Verdana or Ariel, but that' s just my personal preference. I find the text on http://www.fragrantskin.com/sample.asp a little difficult to read, especially the privace policy at the bottm.

Overall, I like what you' ve done, it just need a few tweeks.

Oops, one more think I just noticed, the sublinks on the " About Us" link are jumping past the table on the left when you mouse over the link.

Good job!
Swirl

But that is what family is for:) I know I am harder on my peeps then on other folk and they want the same from me. It is always harder for me to do my personal sites because I want to do everything!

This forum helps me to stay focused thus I appreaciate all of your input and suggestions. That whole freash eyes thing:)

I will add a few butterflies and naked women over the next few weeks:)

Thanks again.

I think you already have the " naked ladies" thing covered. :) Very tastefully done though with all the flowers covering the naughty bits. :)
