I hope that is clear, class!! YES, m' am. HOWEVER.....with regard to this: quote:
when someone who posts a question about an image or a graphics issue, and is using IC, they are told how to do it in some other package Even though I may not have the same program as someone who posts a question, I don' t think it necessarily means that I can not be helpful by pointing out how to do something in the program I do use. Basic techniques such as adjusting brightness and contrast, selection, sharpening, hue and saturation, etc. are pretty much the same in all image editing programs. I' d prefer trying to provide help with illustrations using (in my case) Photoshop, than not offering help at all. So, a very difficult photo was successfully tweaked in three different image editing programs: Paintshop Pro, Image Composer and Photoshop (mine below). Perhaps it would be helpful to others if each explain a bit how we did what we did?! gail Thumbnail Image

I was told by an apparantly reliable source that IC would not run on XP - cannot remember the source, but I know I believed it. It is in fact the main reason I was putting off upgrading to XP. I am truly delighted to learn that it is not the case.
