Re: Adjusting Line Space Thread - SPECIAL thanks to abbeyvet and Justjay for pointing out that inserting " transparent" xxx' s instead of spacer gifs could be interpreted as Spam by Gogglebot thereby reducing ranking.
My site, www.carolinahomesrealty.com/ has been on page one of Google for the past two+ years under key words " Greenville Real Estate" , (#5 today) and brings me about 75% of my non-referral business. My SEO guy verified by e-mail today that new Google spam identifying algorithms would eventually place me much lower or out of the picture altogether. Of course he had no way of knowing my site had (HAD) about fifty (50) " transparent" xxx references until I copied him on the OutFront Forum post.
The tips I' ve picked-up here are invaluable! This one has saved me countless $$$. Again thanks!
