Front Page/Office Intranet Developer needed - 6/20/2003 15:29:24
I' ve been hired by a " not for profit" client in Atlanta (Druid Hills area) who wants to implement an intranet. Front Page is the development environment of choice. After talking with them for several hours yesterday, I' m pretty sure that what the final product will entail a mix of Front Page, Word, and Outlook since they have MS Exchange and everyone already uses Outlook and Word. The client wants to move quickly (preliminary design/templates done late July to early August), but wants to " keep it simple" in the beginning.
I intend to sub-contract the two major phases, analysis/design and development/implmentation. I' m open to hiring a single person to do both phases providing they' ve got the necessary skills and experience. If need be, however, I may hire an Analyst/Designer and a Developer.
To conduct the analysis and design, the person needs to be in Atlanta and on-site. Since this is a " not for profit" , paying expenses for someone is pretty much out of the question so the BA needs to be LOCAL TO THE ATLANTA AREA. On the other hand, the developer may be able to work remotely depending on how the analysis and design phase goes.
I expect that the first go around on this is going to run through the September/October time frame, but the client already anticipates additional work into next year.
