setting length? Can I? Must I? - 4/27/2001 20:40:00
Just started using 2000 and have completed my first Index page. Problem is that it looks as if that page has a zillion miles of blank and unused space at the bottom. I have kept the opening page at a normal "screen length" and I really do not want a "single page" style. Can someone tell me if the page length is calculated and uploaded accordingly or is all that unused and blank portion at the bottom of my index page going to be uploaded (thus having a blank segment that can be accessed with the scroll bar on the right side?) Now I am a real novice at FP so please give me the simple version. Thanks.

Publishing is probaly not going to help. If you look at it in a browser and you have a ton of white space, it's not going to go away.
Look for
1. a ton of <BR> tags after the main part of your page.
2. two tons of <P> tags
3. table that were created and never used or discarded.

Any further help is probably going to require the posting of your page
