FP02 Server Extensions & IIS

scyganiak Posts: 6 Joined: 6/19/2003 Status: offline	FP02 Server Extensions & IIS - 6/24/2003 13:44:43 I installed the front page server extensions for 2002. I configured them and everything else I was supposed to do. Well now when I go to IIS and right click on the web and select check server extensions I get this error message: " The server administration programs and the server extensions on the web server are not compatible. The administration program is too old to use with this server." Has anyone encountered this error? If so, could someone help me figure out what to do. Thanks!!!!

scyganiak Posts: 6 Joined: 6/19/2003 Status: offline	RE: FP02 Server Extensions & IIS - 6/25/2003 9:08:20 I used the SharePoint admin page to upgrade the server to FP02 server extensions, that page now says Administration on the web I put the extensions on. I also downloaded and installed the security patch on the server. Do you have any more ideas for me?? HELP!!! (in reply to scyganiak)

If so read MMC for IIS. I also assume you don' t get the option of selecting " Check Frontpage 2002 Extensions" from the Task list. I can' t remember exactly how MMC looks on my work machine. Anyway... Open IIS/MMC > select Properties In the Properties interface you should find that there are 2 " Server Extensions" tabs Select the " Server Extensions 2002" tab and click on the " Settings... button That will open the web administration interface.
