jaberwocky -> RE: 2002 Server Extensions not working (8/9/2003 3:19:31)

hey there I am experiencing a similar problem. I run an office intranet which used WindowNT Workstation4 and PWS, and all the publishing was done in FP98. The server then moved to WinXP Pro running IIS5.1. XP already include FPSE but cause i was now useing FP2002 i downloaded and installed FPSE2002, but when i create forms, hover buttons etc in FP i always get the message "...requires FP server extensions to be installed to function properly...blah blah". In your instruction, you say to create a subweb (an i really dont get what that is), but if i have my website as http://officeweb and all the webpages are off this main page and all my files/folders reside in c:\inetpub\wwwroot\....... does this mean i have to recreate my entire site into a 'subweb' to get the FPSE to work? I am confused. Funny thing was if i open the same form in FP98 and resave it, it functions fine, but if i reopen and resave in FP2002 it wont run and i get the FP server extensions must be installed...error on the wenpage. But i want to stop using FP98
