Hello RG,

I had to chuckle about your remark about needing fresh eyes to look at your site. I had so tired of mine I couldn' t see a misspelling at the end-stages of creation even if it was my name.

Curious first of all on how the site is working for you. Is it bringing in the business? How do the logs look? Where are hits coming from? My point is - - if it isn' t broke; leave alone.

For me, the site is too noisy. I feel overwhelmed visually. I don' t linger on a site with that much confronting me.

Do you remodel all across the US? If so, I would suggest a tag-line in the narrative that tells me that. If I stumble in, do I know if you can help me in Chicago or Tennessee. I would specify that earlier and clearly.

I might also pull those sub-contracting areas up and high-light that they are your business. The placement makes it too subtle that this is what the site really is all about (I assume that is what it is for; it is hard to tell).

Those would be my offerings, for what they are worth. Keep in mind that I am the type that asks around at the office, at church, with friends -- until I find a re-modeler, a builder, a plumber that I could trust. I am not the type that would shop for this service on the net so my comments should be taken with a bucket of salt.

Again, back to your business model - - if it is working; don' t fix it.

Dave

Tested in Mozilla 800x600 56k modem. Loads nice and fast. Nice design. Mene' s and links rollover nicely. Resizes to 800x600. Nice forum. Nope, can' t find a thing wrong with it. Not the most exciting subject matter though. Good luck with it.

Nick
