Background Default color - 4/12/2000 14:25:00
Did you know that if you leave the background color at default it will be whatever color the user has specified as his or her default? I thought the default was white, but a friend emailed me to tell me one of my sites is pink on her computer because she sets it that way to check and make sure she remembers to set the background color on the sites she designs.------------------ Shirley I have not lost my mind - it's backed up on a disk somewhere.

Yep, IE is white "out of the box" and NN is grey. Most users never change it so we assume it's whatever browser we use. One of the very first rules for young web designers is always set ALL body attributes (bgcolor, text, link, alink, and vlink) on every page before you ever write the first line of code. A lot of new designers will set a bgcolor and nothing else, amazing how many pages I've seen with black text on a black background ------------------ Gil Harvey "I Do Whatever My Rice Krispies Tell Me To" Old Hippy Productions, Inc.
