I've been having the same problems.
At first I thought my boys had been someplace where the webmasters have no manners.

However, the pop up topics makes it very unlikely it would be one of my boys. The problem is only occuring on this one machine. None of the others has had a problem, yet with one exception, all three of my machines visit the same web sites and have the same software installed (excluding OS.)

Anybody else having this problem and have any ideas who has been so rude?

Can you not reset your home page?

In IE...Tools > Internet Options.
In NN...Edit > Preferences.

You have to go to gohip.com and download an uninstaller. This exact problem was in PC Mag.

The exact URL is here somewhere, sorry, in a hurry.
