I want to be able to click on the thumbnails to make the main image swap with the corresponding image that is represented by the thumbnail. can this be done in frontpage? if so, how? please leave ur wisdom here or email me: luongface@hotmail.com thanks!

The thumbnail images are in a roll that scrolls at the top of page. When you click on a thumbnail, the larger picture below changes to show full size. Insert/Picture/new photogallery and then choose the slide show layout. I may have misunderstood because you said the thumbnail are underneath the larger picture.
