Here's my tip (which is more of a gentle reminder to none other than myself)...

Don't forget to title your pages appropriately (especially your home/entry page please!) I was surfing through some of my "favorites" today and realized that very many of the sites don't have a descriptive title to encourage one to return. Simply using "welcome" doesn't cut it. Make the title as compelling as you can and make sure it is an accurate reflection of your website...As users bookmark your site this title will live on for future reference. Make it work for you!
