Color blindness - 12/22/2000 17:37:00
Actually, the more politically correct term nowadays is color deficiency. Did you know that 10% of the population suffers from it? (Mostly males) Other vision problems affect about 20% of people. Most web developers don't have any vision problems so many don't take these things into account when they do their designs. Here's a site worth checking out: http://www.vischeck.com/index.shtml Not only do they supply a lot of info about vision problems and how to design around them but they have a neat little URL checker which will show you what your pages look like to people with various visual deficiencies. Sorry if it's been posted before but I just found it. Dave

This is great! Thanks...it really makes a difference to people who can't interpret colors like the rest of us.------------------ Rayne www.raynecountry.net
