I have been using FrontPage for three years now and consider myself a self-taught expert. Unfortunately many people in the IT world view FrontPage as software for non-professionals. I lacked respect and therefore decided to get certified.

Like magic, I gained respect and picked up a lot of work based on my new credentials.

I highly recommend Certification. It will take approximately three to six months (online) but it's a great investment.

Now that I'm a big shot (ha ha), I can say honestly that FrontPage 2000/2002 is a fantastic tool for webmasters at all levels. It has the best interface that I've seen and you can use multiple software packages to supplement your FrontPage Websites. For example, I use a lot of Macromedia software incorporated into my FrontPage sites.
