Photo Gallery - 8/13/2003 19:33:49
I'm trying to make a photo gallery in front page 2002 that when you click on the thumbnail you see the bigger picture in a new page (I have no problem with this so far) but I also want to add a comments button on the bottom of the picture. I would also like for people to see the comments at the bottom of a picture wether they want to comment on it or not. Thanks in advance for the help.

In case that was too confusing this is the layout I'm looking for.

I am not so sure you can do all of this with the stock Gallery within FP. However, there are a few Scripts out there that may allow you to do it. Not saying it cannot be done, but you may want to check out the extra files and directories that the Gallery creates when you create a Gallery in FP to see if it will allow you to manipulate the code.

Gene is correct. You can add a caption and comments while composing your gallery and it will show on the page with the thumbnails but it won't transfer over to the larger graphic when a person views it.

(Microsoft are you reading this?)

Like Gene says you'll probably have to do it with a script.
