Elecia -> Could a few of you take a look? (3/4/2001 16:50:00)

I'm just getting started with this site so there is next to nothing to look at yet. The thing is one of my busines partners pulled up the site to look at it and said that the applet I use for the menu was lime green. It is supposed to be a sort of gold color. At least that's how I it has looked on every PC I've viewed it from. I just need to know if the lime green thing was some kind of fluke or if I got a real problem that I need to address.
Thanks

Hi,

It looks gold to me - I'd be wary of using an applet as my main navigation - also took a long time to appear.

Cheers

Ditto what Andy said.

I took it down to 256 colors and it turned gray, which wasn't bad. I don't know what a Mac would do with those colors, though.

If someone was color blind, it could very well look green to them. Do you know what kind of computer/monitor they were using?

It looks kinda light olive green to me.

Elecia

You might consider doing something else for the navigation menu. When the cursor is passed over the menu, the pop up sub-menu appears below the cursor so that it must be moved to read the text on the pop up. Also, if the cursor is moved off the menu after a pop up appears, the pop up remains, obscuring the main menu items. If it cascaded to the right of the menu, it would work better.
